Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the CollageBox app ("CollageBox", "we", "us") handles, why, and the choices you have. We built CollageBox to work without an account and to keep your photos on your device.

In short: your photos and designs never leave your phone unless you choose to share them. We don't sell your personal information. The free version shows ads, and with your permission ad partners may use your device's advertising identifier to show more relevant ads.

1. Your photos and designs

When you add photos, CollageBox reads them from your photo library only with your permission, and only the photos you pick. All editing happens on your device. Your projects are saved in the app's private storage on your phone. We do not upload, collect or store your photos, videos or designs on our servers.

When you save or share a design, it goes to your photo library or to the app you choose (for example Instagram). What that app does with it is covered by its own privacy policy.

2. Information we don't collect

CollageBox has no sign-up or account. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts or location.

3. Information handled by service providers

Some features rely on trusted providers. They receive only what they need to do their job.

If we add analytics or crash reporting, it will be used only to keep the app working and improve it, and we will update this policy before it ships.

4. Advertising and tracking

The free version of CollageBox is supported by ads. On iPhone, the app asks for permission before your advertising identifier can be used to track you across other companies' apps and websites. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", ads are still shown but are not personalised using that identifier. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Subscribers to CollageBox PRO or PRO Studio do not see ads.

5. Information stored on your device

CollageBox stores your projects, preferences (such as theme), your brand kit if you use PRO Studio, and which templates you have unlocked. This information stays on your device. Deleting the app removes it.

To provide the app and its features, including restoring purchases
To show ads in the free version and keep them free of fraud
To deliver new templates and seasonal content
To answer you when you contact support
To meet legal obligations

Where the law requires a legal basis (for example in the EU and UK), we rely on performing our contract with you (providing the app and your subscription), your consent (personalised ads and tracking), and our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention and improving the app).

7. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only with the service providers above, when you ask us to, or when the law requires it. Under some US state laws, using advertising identifiers for personalised ads can count as "sharing"; you can opt out by declining tracking as described in section 4.

8. Retention

We keep support emails for as long as needed to help you and then delete them. Service providers keep information according to their own policies, generally only as long as needed for the purposes above.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to withdraw consent. Because CollageBox has no accounts and keeps your content on your device, most of your information is already under your control. 10. Children

CollageBox is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security and international transfers

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours, using appropriate protections such as standard contractual clauses where required.

12. Changes

We may update this policy as the app changes. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
